On the 6th of May 2008 I was elected by my fellow councillors to be the Deputy Mayor for London Borough of Waltham Forest 2008 to 2009. This election received the formal endorsement at the Annual Council Meeting which took place on the 22nd of May 2008. It is an honour to be elected by my fellow councillors and to get the endorsement of the whole council and I pledge to serve the borough honourably. My chosen consorts are Dozie Ogbuebile and Crystal Chibuogu Ihenachor. My families, friends, colleagues and well wishers including my country of origins's Deputy Ambassador (Hon Dozie Nwanna & his Wife) were in attendance.
