This is to ensure that the party is at the forefront of the diversity and equality agendas.  Rt Hon Hazel Blears MP, Labour party chair appointed Keith Vaz MP to chair it.  A tea party was held for all elected Ethnic Minority Councillors at the House of commons.  MPs & Cabinet Ministers were also in attendance.  Pictures were taken to commemorate the occasion, these can be viewed in the picture gallery.
